Next Council meeting will be August 11, 2010 in Latham at Gary Phillips residence. Please email president@nycdsc.org if you will be going and for directions. The council will be cooking out and needs to know who is planning on attending. Their is no meeting in JULY.

Council Fun Day July 24 turned out to be a hot, humid day in Lake George. Seven members had an adventure of a life time. Check out Paula Moir our secretary walking 25' in the air on loose logs. Mike Baker can't wait to catch up to Paula, but Dick does not seam to mind waiting.

The purpose of the Council is to promote interest and participation in recreational and competitive armature skiing. Presently the council consists of seven ski clubs with over 3,000 members. We enjoy skiing, snow boarding, tele skiing, racing, biking, hiking, camping, golfing, roller blading, along with many other activities. Our member clubs ski here in the Northeast, all over North America and Europe. The council has special promotional days set up with a large group of ski areas to help promote skiing. SWC Gore Race February 11, 2007. We have DVD's available for $25.00 for the race. Gore provided 3 people to video the race top to bottom. They have peiced it together for you.
